WE ARE:  THE KENT ISD ORAL DEAF PROGRAM
(FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE GRAND RAPIDS ORAL DEAF PROGRAM)

Established in 1899, the Oral Deaf program is committed to helping children who are deaf or hard of hearing develop spoken language and literacy through listening.

We are a public school center based program servicing students within Kent County.  Our mission is to enable children with hearing loss to gain skills necessary to perform at the same level as their normal hearing peers using the auditory-verbal practices of teaching.

Disclaimer: We are currently in the process of waiting for the IRS to re-instate our non-profit status. We ancticipated this to be done by May 2022 as paperwork was filed with our accountant last fall, however the IRS is behind on non-profit re-instatements and so we don't know when that will be finalized.

If you have registered for golf or donated/sponsored, and want us to return your payment/donation, please email us at grodpto@gmail.com
